On the rear. At or near the front - 1 amber on each side of the vehicles centerline, at the same level, as far apart as practicable. On the rear - 1 red or amber on each side of the vertical centerline at the same height and as far apart as practicable. The turn signal may be part of the stoplight assembly On the front, 3 amber lamps and on the rear, 3 red lamps. Grouped in a horizontal row with lamp centers spaced not less than 6 inches nor more than 12 inches apart, and mounted as close as practicable to the vertical centerline and the top of the vehicle (see 4.6.1.1 and 4.7.1.2). |
